All District provided Chromebooks are configured to allow connections to public WiFi networks and home networks.  UCF technology team cannot provide support for home networks, however, there are a few basic troubleshooting steps that you can try before contacting your Internet Provider.

  • Restart your Chromebook 

  • Try turning off your WiFi on your Chromebook and turning back on

  • Try connecting to your home WiFi network again

  • Ensure you are entering the correct WiFi password when prompted

  • Try connecting to another wireless network and see if it can connect successfully (i.e. Coffee Shop, Library, etc..)

If trying these tips do not work, please contact your local internet provider for additional assistance.
