- Students will see the Canvas courses they are enrolled in that have been published by their instructors. Login at https://ucfsd.instructure.com to see the Dashboard view.
- Customize the courses that are displayed and hide older courses if desired: How do I customize my Courses list as a student?
- Students will not see their courses until the first day of class during the school year. Students will see first day of school courses about one week before school starts.
Steps You Can Take to Investigate
Check for hidden courses (this only applies if you previously customized your course display). Log in to Canvas, on the far left menu click Courses, scroll to the bottom of the list and click All Courses. Every course has a star icon next to it, if the star is filled in it will display in the Dashboard view, if the star is empty it will be hidden. Click on a star to fill/empty it. Click Dashboard to see the updated list.
Ask your instructor. You can contact your instructor to ask if they are using Canvas and, if so, when the course will be visible to students. An instructor will also be able to confirm if they are using Blackboard for their course instead.
